Jordan Aircraft Maintenance Limited (JorAMCo), and Kuwaiti Airways Company (KAC) have energized their business corporation in the aviation maintenance sector by renewing the maintenance General Trade Agreement between the two companies.

The agreement valid for a number of years sets guide lines for the business corporation and focuses on the potential growth and expansion of future maintenance services offered by JorAMCo to KAC's growing fleet.

Under the agreement JorAMCo will provide heavy maintenance services to three Airbus A310s and five Airbus A300-600s, the work scope to be accomplished on these aircraft will include heavy aircraft maintenance C11 checks, full systems integrity checks, cabin refurbishment work and complete aircraft painting. The maintenance work was awarded to JorAMCo through internationally offered tenders, JorAMCo winning those tenders amidst mounting competition from major maintenance provides regionally and globally.

KAC had previously chosen JorAMCo as their maintenance partner, JorAMCo demonstrating capabilities as being a dynamic aircraft maintenance center in the region specializing in aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of Airbus, Boeing, Embraer and Tri-star aircraft.

The cooperation between the two companies is a manifestation to the vision of the leadership in the two countries, and stems from the understanding that both public and private organizations in the two countries should engage and corporate more to create a mutually beneficial business environment.
