Amman-Jordan JorAMCo has successfully completed major structural repair on an Airbus A321, the repair included fuselage skins replacement to the tail area following tail skid incident the aircraft encountered during take-off, the operator's decision to select JorAMCo to perform the repairs was due to the extensive and specialized structural repair capabilities available at JorAMCo.
The repair procedure gained approval of Airbus, and a Repair Approval Sheet (RAS) was issued on behalf of EASA approving the repair. JorAMCo is approved by several international authorities, including the European EASA and US FAA, with capabilities covering all levels of aircraft maintenance. The company serves several airlines in the Middle East, Europe and Asia from its 30,000 sqm hangar facilities in Amman - Jordan. JorAMCo is an independent MRO facility based in Amman, Jordan, and is majority-owned by Dubai-based Abraaj Capital, the premier investment firm specializing in private equity investment the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia region. JorAMCo capitalizes on the availability of skilled labor in Jordan, and has recently opened an EASA 147 approved academy to secure the flow of certifying engineers needed for its continuous expansion.
