Course Description The Academy provides full approved basic ‘Sandwich Course' with approved examinations to meet the requirements of the IR Part 66 licence in categories B1.1 and B2. The Academy is the only non EU Part 147 Approved Training School to provide this unique ‘Sandwich Course' for Part 66 Category B licences, which combines the knowledge and experience requirements over a 4 year period. This course is fully approved by the United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority (UKCAA), and can be offered to meet the requirements of IR Part 66 Licensing in Categories B1.1 and B2. Each year of the course offers theoretical and practical training, On the Job Training (OJT) and a period of work experience, so that at the end of the program candidates have the opportunity to apply for license issue if all Requirements are met.
