Amman / Manchester . JorAMCo has signed a maintenance agreement with the British carrier Thomas Cook, the agreement covers performing C check on three Airbus A330, the work on the first aircraft has just been accomplished successfully at JorAMCo's facilities .The deal with Thomas Cook was the first acquisition for JorAMCo in the British aviation market and part of JorAMCo's expansion plans in the European market.
"We are looking forward to this project and will treat the event as a true partnership to ensure its total success for both JorAMCo and Thomas Cook and hopefully this will lead to further collaborations." stated Mr. Andy Best, the Line Maintenance and Commercial General Manager. The agreement was officially signed during The Dubai Air show 2009.
Thomas Cook is major charter airline operating inclusive tour flights from several UK airports to over sixty holiday destinations within Europe and the Mediterranean basin as well as long haul services to points on six continents. Thomas Cook operates a fleet of some A320s, A321s, A330s in addition to B757s and B767s.
